Description
Print Indie is a screen printing firm. My concept was to create a mark that conveys what they do in a simple way. Inspired from the tools that execute their work I decided to focus on these elements. Although this solution was rejected by the client it was entered into Logo Lounge’s annual publication and will be published in their new installment of the Logo Lounge series. The book is due out in July 2009.

Haitian Artisans for Peace International, HAPI, was founded in March 2007 as a fair trade artisan co-op focused on spirituality and creativity. Marketing of the resulting artwork supports women's economic development and empowerment.
HAPI is "encouraging creativity, promoting gender equality, creating economic opportunity, and growing healthy communities towards our vision of Living out Christ in community for a world of peace with justice." Medina Meadows is a small nursing home facility outside of Cleveland. Their previous mark was far too corporate and uninviting. Using inspiration from nature I wanted to bring out patterns and forms that would convey a friendlier approach. My goal was to create a feeling of comfort and safety for anyone considering using their services.
